I have recently become a fan of the Aldi grocery store. For the last few months, I’ve been shopping at Aldi for several grocery items where the savings on these items has significantly added up. Not only have I been saving money on groceries, but I’ve been very pleased with the high quality of [...]

I’ve been on a mission to increase the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables we consume on a daily basis. With summer time here, there are so many great varieties of fresh fruits that are delicious and healthy. Watermelon and cantaloupe are some of our favorite summer fruits right now.
I love couponing and try to implement as [...]

This month I set a new grocery budget for our family of 11 which I will be sharing more about later on next week. This year has been a bit of a wash for me in terms of growing my own food, canning and buying local food. Maybe not a wash…but definitely not as much [...]

I hadn’t been to the grocery store in a long time. Yesterday afternoon was the first time I made a large grocery trip since before the baby was born (almost 8 weeks ago). For this grocery trip, I wanted to go to Publix to take advantage of the .59 cent lb turkey deal I read [...]

I took advantage of being in town and grabbed a few deals at Target and Publix one day this week. At Target, I found Gillette Fusion razors clearanced out to $2.48. I used the one P&G $4 off any Gillette Fusion razor coupon I had and was able to get the $2 overage which went against the large [...]

Being one who loves to save money, I’ve been thinking a lot about frugality. While this post may seem out of character, or possibly a bit controversial, I like to mix it up here on the blog and offer some “food for thought”, so to speak, on being frugal to a fault.
Is it possible to [...]

Is it worth it to shop at Sam’s Club or Costco? Here are some of my thoughts on Sam’s Club and Costco vs. Couponing.
You may not find Sam’s or Costco worth it if:
You are single.
You have a small family.
You have a small family with small children.
You don’t consume large amounts of food and supplies.
You coupon full time [...]

Do you buy in bulk?
You will find a wide array of articles on the web telling you what the best bulk deals are and what the worst bulk deals are. I’ve never read one of these articles I completely agree with. All families are different and have different bulk food needs and goals. What may [...]

I didn’t spend enough time this week planning my grocery shopping. I had laundry overtaking me and lots of early spring garden work as well as revamping my blog. This week we made a lot of pancakes, tortillas and bread. We had a lot of simple and inexpensive meals this week and stretched the amount of [...]

Kroger recently changed the packaging design on their Comforts diapers. I went to the Kroger website and printed off $3 off any Comforts baby diapers coupons here. You can print 2 coupons per computer.
I bought 4 packs of diapers for $2.99 each!
I have had a few people tell me that they have found $3 off peelie [...]

First, at CVS our totals were $7.38. We earned $13.00 in extra bucks and saved a total of $76.29. When I walked in the house and [...]
